Likewise it welcomes Astrid Aamots move into the presidency, confident she will receive the ongoing generous support of the community. FIREWORKS SHOW!?!? Is it time to bring back the Samish Island Community Fireworks Display? Are you interested in helping? I have been contacted by someone that previously was involved and I agreed to be a contact. Please email me at aaamot@wavecable.com or call me at 360-708-6116. A good article in the Feb. 5th Skagit Valley Herald dealt with scientistsprediction about the long-term rise of water level in Padilla Bay and its effect on the bays eel grass. ----Astrid -----from
