Padilla Bay Industrial Park: A 1950's Plan by Skagit County

During the 1950's, Skagit County proposed an industrial park that would cover almost the entire Padilla Bay. The plan required the in-filling Padilla Bay between March Point, Bayview and Samish Island. Fortunately, the plan was never implemented.

The actual drawings are located in the Padilla Bay Breazeale Interpretive Center. Because of the glass covering them, image quality is compromised. You are encouraged to stop by the center to see the originals.
